RESEARCH ACTIVITY:

In 2019 and 2020, I conducted research on the potential antioxidant activities of passion fruit seed extract (Passiflora Edulis Sims) in squamous cell carcinoma. This research, conducted as part of the DRPM program, specifically focused on analyzing the apoptotic effects and cell cycle changes induced by the extract. In the first year of the study (2019), I initiated investigations into the antioxidant properties of passion fruit seed extract on squamous cell carcinoma. The following year (2020), the research continued with a focus on understanding the extract’s impact on apoptosis and cell cycle regulation within the same cancer cells. These findings contribute to the broader understanding of the potential therapeutic applications of passion fruit seed extract, particularly in the context of its antioxidant properties and its effects on squamous cell carcinoma.
