Majid Elyasi is a Full Professor in the Department of Manufacturing Group at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Babol Noshirvani University of Technology in Babol, Iran. He was born on September 7, 1977, in Ahvaz, Iran, and is currently married.

His research interests span a range of topics including metal forming processes, finite element modeling, process optimization, metrology, and medical (metal) rapid prototyping.
