Professional Profiles:

Education:

I hold a Doctorate in Mineral Engineering from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí, a Master’s in Mineral Engineering from the same university, and a Bachelor’s in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, also from Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí.

Professional Trajectory:

I began my professional journey as a Lecturer on August 10, 2004, at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí. Following that, I received a scholarship on August 24, 2007. During my tenure, I had the opportunity to update the Laboratory Practice Manual and teach as an Hourly Class Teacher starting from May 22, 2015, focusing on Software Application Programming. My career progressed, and I assumed the role of Technical Manager on January 1, 2016, while continuing to serve as a Full-time Professor at the Universidad Autónoma de San Luis Potosí.

Participation in Conferences:

In Mexico, I have actively participated in various conferences focusing on mineral processing and engineering. In 2012, I delivered a presentation titled “Determination of Fracture Parameters” at the XVI Meeting on Mineral Processing. The subsequent year, in 2013, I contributed to the “National Week of Science and Technology” with a presentation titled “Mathematical Simulation of Processes: A Tool for the Immediate Future.” Then, in 2014, I presented my research on the “Design and Construction of a Laboratory High-Pressure Grinding Roll Mill” at the International Minerals Engineering Congress. Furthermore, during the same congress, I also presented on the “Effect of the Lifter Face Angle on the Breakage Kinetics in Tumbling Mills.”

Publications:

Estimation methodology for Bond ball mill work index experiment output via mathematical modeling

study of the effect of the mineral feed size distribution on a ball mill using mathematical modeling

Study of lifter wear and breakage rates for different lifter geometries in tumbling mill: Experimental and simulation analysis using population balance model

Prediction of a piston–die press product using batch population balance model
