Jorge Rufino Fernandez Herrera is a highly accomplished individual with a strong background in electrical engineering, specializing in optics and telecommunications. He completed his PhD in Electrical Engineering from the State University of Campinas, Brazil, with a perfect GPA, focusing on the application of plasmonic sensing utilizing prism and waveguide coupling platforms. Prior to his doctoral studies, Jorge obtained a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, where his research concentrated on optical lenses fiber for coupling. He also holds a Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering from the National University of Engineering in Lima, Peru, where his thesis work involved developing a propagation model for TV digital coverage.
