Cyrus Amini embarked on his academic journey in Mechanical Engineering at SRU, Tehran, where he completed his Bachelor’s degree with a remarkable GPA of 15.11/20. His insatiable curiosity and dedication led him to pursue further studies, culminating in a Master’s degree from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) with an outstanding GPA of 17.15/20. It was during this time that he delved into the intricacies of earthquake-resistant design, showcasing his ability to tackle real-world challenges with creative solutions.

Undeterred by the complexities of advanced research, Amini pursued a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Tabriz. His doctoral research, which focused on the optimization of process parameters in Friction Stir Welding (FSW) of aluminum alloys, earned him widespread recognition and a stellar GPA of 18.25/20. Amini’s expertise in FSW was further honed during his stint as a Visiting Student at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC) in Spain, where he made significant contributions to the development of FEM models and experimental techniques.
