Dr. Hernando Correa Gallego, Universidad del QuindIo, Colombia

Hernando Correa Gallego, a distinguished Senior Researcher recognized by Minciencias, was born on June 26, 1960, in Cartago, Colombia. Holding a Doctorate in Sciences – Physics from Universidad del Valle, he has made significant contributions to the fields of Matter Physics and Particle and Field Physics. His academic journey began with a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, followed by a Master’s degree in Sciences from the same institution, with a thesis focusing on the electrolytic solid phase of AgI.

Dr. Correa Gallego has been a full-time faculty member at Universidad del Quindío since 1999, where he has been actively involved in both teaching and research. He has taught a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Quantum Mechanics, Electrodynamics, and Statistical Physics.
