Usman Atique is a seasoned Mechanical Engineer currently pursuing his PhD at the Department of Design and Manufacturing, School of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering, National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) in Islamabad, Pakistan. With a career spanning 25 years, Usman has amassed a wealth of experience in various facets of mechanical engineering, particularly in defense-related industries. His academic journey includes a Master’s degree in Design and Manufacturing Engineering from NUST, where he earned a Gold Medal for his outstanding performance, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, also at NUST.

Usman’s academic achievements are complemented by a string of certifications and oral certificates from prestigious international conferences, showcasing his expertise in areas such as assembly line balancing, numerical analysis, and manufacturing technologies. He has also undertaken several research projects, notably focusing on the optimization of assembly lines for bulletproof vehicles and the incremental forming of Tailor Welded Blanks, sponsored by NUST.
