Additionally, I am fluent in English, which enhances my ability to work in international settings and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Qualification:

I am a senior professional with 25 years of experience in project management and consulting within the civil engineering sector, specializing in structural analysis using steel for various building types including residential, commercial, and predominantly industrial structures. My expertise spans across industries such as Gas and Oil, Rubber, Textile, Sugar alcohol, Metallurgical, and Mining. I have demonstrated competence in managing Marketing and Technology Projects, conducting market studies aligned with business strategies, and consistently seeking to expand market share and capitalize on new sales opportunities, particularly within the global construction sector. My skill set includes the ability to develop technology and innovation projects in collaboration with customers, end-users, universities, and government entities. Additionally, I have successfully managed technology development centers, notably establishing a technology center in China focused on pipeline welding research. My knowledge of international markets for civil construction allows me to develop tailored commercial strategies for each global market, with a particular emphasis on the Chinese market. Furthermore, I excel in managing multicultural teams and have extensive experience working in diverse environments, including Brazil, the United States, Europe, and China.

EXPERIENCE:

I have a rich professional history spanning various roles in civil engineering and project management. Since January 2019, I have served as a Market Development Specialist at CBMM, where my focus has been on expanding the global niobium market in civil construction. This involves managing an annual R&D budget of R$ 2 million, leading a team of 10 individuals across Brazil, China, and the USA, and reporting to the Global Executive Manager of Market and Development. My previous role involved spearheading the creation of a Technology Center for welding in the Oil and Gas pipeline industry, which resulted in significant market growth. I have also managed technology projects worldwide, collaborated with universities and industry stakeholders, and coordinated civil construction market studies in various regions. Additionally, I have been heavily involved in R&D projects with renowned universities and institutes, emphasizing structural steel performance. Prior to this, I served as an Industrial Project Coordinator for CBMM, where I managed civil engineering projects and oversaw the expansion of the company’s production capacity. My responsibilities included contract management, budgeting, and community engagement. Earlier in my career, I worked as a Structural Engineering Manager at TECNAÇO, where I led engineering teams and managed the analysis of steel structure designs. During this time, I developed expertise in codes for steel and composite structures and built strong relationships within the steel construction industry. Before that, I worked as an Independent Structural Engineer, focusing on industrial building projects and specializing in the reinforcement of old structures using innovative techniques. Overall, my career has been marked by a strong focus on innovation, market development, and effective project management in the civil engineering and construction sectors.
